Monitoring the health of OpenSER
Here is another detail which I spent a few hours testing and getting to work. If you worried about the health of your OpenSER (single server), use the tool called Monit. Do not use chkconfig etc (on linux) since Monit effectively will take over that part including the openserctl start and stop commands. After the installation, things are fully transparent and you can still use your openserctl stop/start (which invokes monit).
